Humble Heart Farms Goat Cheese is a product of the Tennessee River Valley. The sun, rain, wind, grasses and feed all come together to favor our cheese. The “girls” come from a long line which produce excellent milk. We carefully provide the best nutrition with grazing, a custom blended feed and hay. This is the secret to our fine quality chevre (goat cheese). Humble Heart Farms makes a fresh spreadable fromage in seven flavors. Our herd consists of the pure white Saanen the Holstein of the goat world We milk over 100 goats. We follow a natural dairy cycle, milking for ten months of the year, breeding in the fall and kidding in early February. December and January is our “Sabbath” time when goats and farmers rest, rejuvenate and prepare for the next cycle.
